5. Donation Receipt
Upon successful completion of the donation, an acknowledgment or donation receipt will be issued to the donor using the details provided during the donation process.
To ensure timely issuance of receipts, donors are requested to provide accurate:
- Full Name
- Email Address
- Mobile Number
- Postal Address
- PAN (where applicable)
6. Tax Benefit under Section 80G
All eligible donations made to Prayas Social Welfare Society (Regd.) qualify for 50% tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, subject to the provisions of the Income Tax Act and applicable government regulations.
Donors are responsible for providing correct PAN and other information required for issuance of the donation receipt.
Tax benefits shall be available only in accordance with applicable laws and statutory requirements.
7. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Donations made to Prayas Social Welfare Society (Regd.) are voluntary contributions towards charitable activities.
Therefore:
- Donations are generally non-refundable.
- Cancellation of a completed donation is ordinarily not permitted.
However, refund requests may be considered only under exceptional circumstances such as:

- Multiple debits for the same donation

Any such request must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction by contacting us with:
